Zipline is seeking a Project Manager, Maintenance Capacity & Support who has sound judgment, ability to work effectively cross-functionally, high standards and an ability to achieve time sensitive objectives. Success will require attention to detail, process driven strategic planning, collaboration with stakeholders across the company and an ability to adapt and adjust to evolving operational demands.
What You'll Do
You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic demand plans that optimize operational efficiency for Zipline’s maintenance infrastructure installations, refining short term targets of ongoing implementation programs to ensure their success. This candidate will be expected to work closely with maintenance, supply chain, logistics, engineering, business operations and other teams, aligning operational goals and unblocking bottlenecks to devise a collaborative deadline-driven roadmap. Additionally you will configure and optimize emerging maintenance facility requirements to enable market expansion while future proofing for sustained operations.
What You'll Bring
- A minimum of 5-7 years experience managing multi-faceted operational schedules
- You have a strategic orientation and track record of managing and delivering projects smoothly and on time with minimal oversight.
- You are self motivated, proactive and take pride in your work.
- You possess critical thinking and problem solving skills with time sensitive objective driven team leadership experience.
- You can communicate effectively and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external teams.
- Basic engineering knowledge: mechanical, electrical and software
- You are eager to deeply engage with and embrace Zipline’s UAV technology and operations.
- You have the grit, resourcefulness, and resilience to thrive in novel, uncertain and constantly-changing business and regulatory environments.
- You have exposure to the FAA regulatory and airspace construct with an appreciation of the airspace and land use relationship.
- Ability to use relevant computer applications to diligently and consistently update and maintain records for inventory, scheduling and implementation timelines.
- Must be able to travel 20 - 25%, as necessary
- Ability to lift and or move up to 55 pounds
- Must have a valid US Driver's License
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
What Else You Need to Know
This Full Time role is based out of our Richardson, Texas Regional HQ with a minimum of 4 days a week required in office or at local Zipline facilities.
As the Project Manager, Maintenance Capacity & Support a proportion of your time will be spent directly overseeing the implementation of the expansion of operations into new markets within the US and globally thus the flexibility to travel is essential.
The starting cash range for this role is $__________. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, working location, and projected impact. The total compensation package for this role may also include: equity compensation; discretionary annual or performance bonuses; sales incentives; benefits such as medical, dental and vision insurance; paid time off; and more.
