Role Overview

We’re looking for a Finance & Business Operations Associate to join our lean, high-impact team. You’ll work directly with our Head of Finance to help scale the business, bring clarity to our numbers, and partner with leaders across Sales, Product, and Operations.

This isn’t a back-office role — you’ll be at the center of decision-making, from building models that shape our next fundraise to creating insights that drive how we hire, price, and grow. If you’re excited about SaaS, metrics, and working in a startup where your work is felt company-wide, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Build & own models – Maintain and improve our operating model (ARR waterfalls, cohort analyses, headcount planning, scenario toggles).
  • Be our metrics engine – Create reporting and dashboards that track SaaS metrics like NRR, GRR, LTV/CAC, and productivity per rep.
  • Partner cross-functionally – Support teams across Sales, Product, and Ops with ad-hoc analysis and business cases.
  • Level up our tooling – Run point on our FP&A platform (Abacum or similar), integrating data sources and automating reporting.
  • Support fundraising & board prep – Help build investor materials, diligence trackers, and data room analysis.
  • Drive operational projects – Lead cross-team initiatives like procurement reviews, contract centralization, and budget vs. actuals workflows.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in a mix of finance, strategy, or consulting (e.g., IB/consulting + startup FP&A/BizOps).
  • Strong modeling chops in Excel/Google Sheets — you know your way around a cohort waterfall and a three-statement model.
  • Hands-on experience with a modern FP&A tool (Abacum, Pigment, Mosaic, Cube, etc.).
  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics and growth levers (ARR, churn, expansion, CAC payback).
  • Comfort with ambiguity — you like solving open-ended problems and building processes from scratch.
  • A team player who’s curious, resourceful, and eager to grow with the company.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Quickbooks, NetSuite or other ERP/accounting systems (outsourced Accounting partner handles the close, but integration knowledge is helpful).
  • Experience preparing materials for a board, investors, or diligence process.
  • SQL or BI tool experience (Looker, Hex, Tableau, etc.) to dig into data.

Why Join Us

  • High impact from Day 1 – You’ll be the first internal hire focused on finance & strategy.
  • Broad scope – Touch everything from fundraising to vendor negotiations to pricing strategy.
  • Growth opportunity – As we scale, you’ll grow with the team and shape what finance looks like here.
  • Startup culture – Fast-moving, collaborative, and mission-driven.
