We’re looking for a detail-driven relationship builder to connect districts, teachers, and students through seamless coordination and outstanding service. Bring your organizational skills and passion for education to a role where every connection counts. Join Subject as a Academics Coordinator and be the bridge between our partner districts and our Teacher Services team. In this role, you’ll ensure state compliance, manage licensure requirements, and coordinate specialized services that drive student success. You’ll foster strong relationships, streamline workflows, and guide districts from contract to classroom with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities

  • Research understand state policies that our Services team needs to abide by
  • Directly support student needs asynchronously and synchronously as needed
  • Strengthen new partnerships by providing high quality customer service
  • Provide simple accessibility solutions for participants and ensure partner satisfaction
  • Plan for the success of the TOR department by keeping adequate records and communicating plans across the organization and partnerships
  • Collect and review licensure information; direct departments on new state enrollments
  • Ensure state compliance
  • Communicate effectively within the Services and Sales divisions
  • Follow new contracts from closure to implementation and beyond
  • Be knowledgeable in the Subject philosophy and employ this with member districts

**Qualifications**

  • 3+ years of customer service experience, preferably within an educational setting
  • Preferred: experience in a school setting as an educator or someone who works directly with educators
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Team player passionate about education and Subject’s mission
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working independently, but also raising a hand when stuck
  • Experience working in an early-stage start-up environment is recommended, but not required
