Job Summary

The Certified Teacher supports student success and ensures instructional quality by monitoring a group of assigned learners, identifying those in need of intervention, and providing constructive feedback aligned with course materials. Key responsibilities include reviewing submissions, maintaining accurate communication records, assisting with score reviews and reporting, and collaborating with leadership to address learner needs. The Teacher also reports curriculum inaccuracies, maintains state licensure, and contributes subject matter expertise to support continuous improvement of course content.

What you'll do

• Monitor and support a group of assigned students to promote academic success.
• Provide constructive feedback on student work and identify learners in need of intervention.
• Maintain clear communication records and collaborate with leadership on student needs.
• Review student submissions or scores as requested to ensure fairness and accuracy.
• Report curriculum errors and contribute subject matter expertise to improve course content.
• Additional content development roles as assigned to support continued engagement in Subject coursework.

Qualifications

• Have or be eligible for state teaching certification; willingness to obtain additional state certifications.
• Subject Matter Expertise in one of the following areas: Computer Science, High School Math, High School Science, Visual and Performing Arts, World Languages -- French.
• Internet connection and online availability
• At least three years of successful teaching experience
