About Us

Subject.com is the Netflix of Education — building the future of learning through cinematic, video-first curriculum that students actually want to watch. We partner with school districts nationwide to help students catch up, stay on track, and get ahead. We're seeking a dynamic Marketing & Events Coordinator to help us expand our reach and elevate our presence at conferences and events across the country.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a detail-obsessed, design-minded events and marketing coordinator to join our fast-growing marketing team. You’ll lead event logistics, coordinate cross-functional planning, and ensure that every Subject event leaves an unforgettable impression — from the first Instagram story to the final lead follow-up. This role requires a high level of energy, ownership, and initiative — if you're looking to coast or need constant direction, this won’t be the right fit.

Responsibilities

Even Planning & Execution

  • Coordinate logistics, vendors, travel, and budgets for all events, conferences, and pop-ups.
  • Manage pre-event prep, on-site execution, and post-event wrap-up.
  • Ensure all marketing materials and swag are designed, printed, shipped, and show-ready.

Lead Gen & Funnel Support

  • Own lead capture and tracking from conferences and events, syncing with the Sales team.
  • Support follow-up campaigns and top-of-funnel tactics to turn interest into pipeline.

Design & Brand Execution

  • Work with internal and external designers to create high-impact collateral, signage, social graphics, and recap content.
  • Bring a creative eye to every touchpoint — from booth design to post-event reels.

Project Management

  • Build and manage timelines, event calendars, and checklists to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Keep budgets updated, invoices processed, and ROI measured.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years experience in event marketing, experiential, or B2B marketing roles
  • Exceptionally organized with an eye for detail
  • Has a sharp eye for design and visual storytelling, with hands-on experience using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, and Figma to create polished event collateral, social graphics, and digital assets.
  • Comfortable traveling up to 50% of the time
  • Confident juggling logistics, creative, and internal comms simultaneously
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe, or other design tools is a plus
  • CRM/event management experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) a plus

You Might Be a Fit If You…

  • Love spreadsheets and storyboarding in equal measure
  • Thrive in fast-paced, startup-style environments
  • Are the go-to planner in your friend group
  • Have a strong aesthetic instinct and brand sensibility
  • Know how to turn event moments into marketing momentum
  • You’re not just willing — you want to put in 70+ hours a week because you care deeply about building something great, moving fast, and making your mark.

Compensation

$67,000 - $72,000
