Our customer support team provides best-in-class service and support to our growing customer base while meeting or exceeding our service level agreements defined by our business requirements. We’re highly focused on customer retention and loyalty, and we work hard to build systems and structures to reduce costs related to process inefficiencies.
About the role:
We’re looking for a Logistics Coordinator Intern who is organized, self-motivated, and eager to provide superior service to internal and external customers. This individual will be responsible for getting faulty hardware returns from the customers, regularly following up on open RMA tickets and helping the support team on special projects. This position reports to the Sr. Customer Support Manager and will work closely with Support, Manufacturing, Finance and Logistics teams.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Prioritize the RMA JIRA tickets backlog queue and do daily follow-ups with the customers on returns.
- Regularly audit existing RMAs to identify outstanding or stalled items.
- Work closely with the customer support representatives (CSRs) for updates on the open RMA tickets in “Awaiting Hardware” status.
- Work closely with the product support engineers (PSEs) to perform administrative tasks associated with new hardware props and accessories.
- Work with the Finance team to send invoices to the customers and track payments.
- Ensure proper routing of returned items to specific engineers or teams.
- Assist with other customer support tickets and special projects.
What would make you a good fit:
- 1+ year of customer support experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of hardware and software.
- Experience working with Atlassian Jira, Salesforce, Notion, Slack and Google suite.
- Experience working cross-functionally across customer support, customer success, logistics, deployment engineering teams.
- Self-starter with impeccable accuracy, excellent attention to detail, and stellar verbal and written communication skills.
Education Requirements
- High-School Diploma or equivalent, preferably with an interest in computer science
- Tech savvy with experience in hardware and software technologies
Preferred Work Location & Hours
- 8 Week Internship Summer 2025
- In the office, at least 3 days per week, at the Skydio headquarters in San Mateo.
- Standard business hours - 8:00AM - 5:00PM PST, with flexibility to work late hours as needed.
Compensation Range: The hourly rate for this position is $27/hr *. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. Interns are eligible to receive the following benefits: Paid vacation time, sick leave, holiday pay and 401K savings plan. This position and all associated benefits are subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as the Company’s policies and eligibility criteria.
