About the Role

Ramp is hiring a People Success Associate!

Reporting to the Senior Manager of People Success, you’ll help our teams be successful, impactful, and supported; ensuring every employee has what they need to do their best work. You’ll serve as the dedicated People Success contact for one of our key business functions, while also providing Tier 1 support for one of our largest teams at Ramp. Your mission: make sure managers and employees alike have the tools, guidance, and programs to thrive.

This role blends strategic project work and hands-on support — no task too big, no detail too small. You’ll:

  • Partner with leaders to enhance performance management, engagement, and career development

  • Lead and support projects that elevate the employee experience

  • Drive execution and implementation of company-wide programs, including performance reviews and engagement surveys

You’ll thrive here if you’re passionate about People Success, excited to learn, and eager to grow your expertise in people programs and partnerships. You’re energized by ambiguity, love solving problems, and find fulfillment in both the details and the bigger picture. This role will give you broad exposure across the People Success function and set the stage for growth into a People Success Partner role.

We’re an in-office team based in Flatiron, New York — we default to being together at least three days a week, but occasional remote work is perfectly fine.

What You'll Do

Build strong partnerships with your organization's leaders, serving as their primary People Success contact and supporting them on employee engagement, onboarding, and team development

  • Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees, resolving Tier 1 performance management questions and escalating more complex issues as needed

  • In Partnership with People & Total Rewards, you’ll lead the execution and operation of company-wide People initiatives — such as performance review and engagement surveys — taking full ownership of project plans, timelines, and stakeholder coordination to ensure programs are delivered smoothly, consistently, and with high impact

  • Manage and execute small to mid-size projects that improve the employee experience within your orgs and beyond

  • Analyze data and feedback to identify trends in your orgs, and help propose action plans that improve employee experience and retention

  • Take full ownership of the roll-out and implementation of your work — no task is too big or too small for you

What You Need

  • 3+ years of experience in the HR/People space or in a client-facing/project management role, with exposure to employee lifecycle programs

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver high-quality results

  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication; proactive and relationship-oriented

  • Comfort handling employee and manager questions, knowing when to escalate to senior partners

  • Analytical mindset: able to gather and interpret feedback/data to drive action

  • “No task too big or too small” mentality — you thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment

  • Experience supporting Go-to-Market (Sales, CX, etc.) organizations is a strong plus

  • Previous people management is not required, but a strong interest in growing into a People Partner role is encouraged

Benefits (for U.S.-based full-time employees)

  • 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you

    • Partially covered for your dependents

    • One Medical annual membership

  • 401k (including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp)

  • Flexible PTO

  • Fertility HRA (up to $5,000 per year)

  • WFH stipend to support your home office needs

  • Wellness stipend

  • Parental Leave

  • Relocation support to NYC or SF (as needed)

  • Pet insurance
