Role Overview
The Project Manager typically oversees the full project management life cycle for shorter duration projects with medium complexity, but can also be deployed on highly complex, large-scale and
strategic implementations. The Project Manager will be responsible for working with software development teams utilizing their proficiency in project management processes and their
experience in delivering quality results. The Project Manager serves as a coordination point between the different functional teams to ensure proper alignment, focus, and delivery of a comprehensive
solution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works with Product Management to drive the definition of the client solution
  • Drives project structure, and project initiation.
  • Drives the creation of the Statement of Work document - defines project scope, objectives, timeline, budget etc. for the project.
  • Leads cross-functional project teams through project activities and deliverables utilizing collaborative skills to accomplish work as a team.
  • Creates, delivers, and maintains the key project management deliverables, such as project plans, status reports to stakeholders, RAIL logs, risk management & mitigation tools, scope management tools, dashboards, budget/cost monitoring and control, etc.
  • Coordinates with other functional team members to ensure proper resourcing and prioritization for the projects and sets client expectations accordingly.
  • Provide consistent and timely feedback reporting to the internal (i.e., Professional Services, Sales) and external customers and other stakeholders.
  • Proactively monitors project progress and performance and identifies and implements adjustments and improvements, including multiple projects or multiple country implementations.
  • Provide excellent high-touch customer service, building strong relationships and ensuring that each customer is a reference.
  • Manages enhancement requirements and translates them into the change & configuration management process.
  • Coordinates SIT, UAT, Training, Go-Live, and post-implementation support as necessary.
  • Has a detailed understanding of the organization’s strategic priorities and is able to apply these in the daily course of business.
  • Applies industry best practices, methodologies, tools and standards for professional Project Management.
  • Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of Project Management processes and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: · Minimum 5-year proven project management experience, preferably within an AGILE software development environment (point of sale or fuel experience preferred).
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or similar)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Fluency (written and spoken) in English (mandatory)
  • Experience of working in client-facing environment
  • Strong communication skills to support frequent customer contact & internal comms,
  • including to senior executives
  • High level of self-organization, problem solving ability, proactivity, and attention to detail
  • Ability to lead through influence
  • Comfortable working in an environment without a heavy structure. Adaptability and agility
  • are preferred traits.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with competing deadlines
  • Exhibits strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to quickly understand new SW solutions
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work independently on a client site

Skills:

  • Previous experience in technical consulting and/or business process engineering
  • AGILE Methodology (desirable)
  • Proficiency in Project Management Software Tools, Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce CRM
