About the role
The Operations Associate position will play a significant role in helping us to build, scale and grow the Brokerage Operations function. You’ll be responsible for the pre and post trade processing for all security products traded by Atomic partner clients. You’ll identify inefficiencies in existing processes and help map out enhancements needed to accommodate future business initiatives as a key liaison between Operations, Engineering, Partnerships, Customer Success and Compliance.
Once here, you will:
Responsible for the pre and post trade processing for all security products traded by Atomic partner clients
Establish positions into Atomic’s internal system and into the custodians
Respond to inquiries from partners, remediating trade exceptions
Provide support, testing and subject matter expertise for all required new business initiatives and regulatory changes surrounding trade processing
Strong focus on customer service to the business and support partners across the organization
Gain a strong understanding of Atomic’s APIs, databases, and trade processing flows as an RIA and broker dealer
Gain in-depth knowledge of client and internal needs to ensure that any change or new business initiative is operationally sound and can be supported and scaled
Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and help map out enhancements needed to accommodate future business initiatives
What we are looking for:
Industry expertise across Broker dealers, Brokerage Operations, and Trade Support
Experience with broker dealer build-outs where you gained firm understanding of trade flows
Ability to work independently and proactively in a high volume, high pressure, and sometimes ambiguous environment
Ability to work with data and understand complex workflows
Capable of triaging and resolving issues related to onboarding, trading, and clearing
Expertise monitoring and resolving of onboarding and trade processing exceptions
Experienced Onboarding and validating new accounts
Series 7 or 99 License required
Strong comfort level in Excel, SQL and ideally Jira
Systems experience with OMS such as SS&C Eze Castle
Front-end trading system experience such as Neovest
