ABOUT THE TEAM
We are seeking an experienced Onboarding Contractor to support our global onboarding transformation. This role will focus on mapping the end-to-end onboarding process, designing tailored onboarding journeys for multiple employee populations, and converting existing instructor-led learning into scalable, self-directed e-learning content.
This role will also play a key part in process improvement as we transition from a localized onboarding model—delivered primarily in person—to a regional delivery model that blends in-person and virtual learning. This is a three-month contract role, based at HQ, with the opportunity to make a direct impact on shaping how new employees experience joining our company.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Onboarding Journey Mapping:
- Map end-to-end onboarding processes across employee populations, including Standard, Manufacturing, Executive, Expert, and Off-Cycle Onboarding.
- Identify key pain points and 'moments that matter' to shape future-state design
Content Design & Development:
- Convert existing synchronous (instructor-led) training into asynchronous, self-directed e-learning.
- Leverage tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or Synthesia to create engaging content.
- Ensure onboarding content is accessible, scalable, and aligned with the global onboarding strategy.
Process Improvement & Delivery Model Transition:
- Contribute to the redesign of onboarding by helping transition from a localized, fully in-person model to a regionalized, blended delivery model.
- Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability across regions.
Collaboration & Delivery:
- Partner with internal onboarding and learning teams to deliver rapid content redesign without disrupting current operations.
- Align content strategy with broader global onboarding objectives and timelines.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Demonstrated experience mapping and redesigning end-to-end onboarding or employee experience journeys.
- Ability to identify critical 'moments that matter' and translate them into engaging learning solutions.
- Demonstrated success in process improvement or implementing new delivery models.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills; able to partner effectively with HR, L&D, and business stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to deliver results within tight timeframes.
- Experience working in tech, defense, or manufacturing industries.
- Familiarity with Cornerstone OnDemand (or comparable LMS platforms) for course setup and delivery.
